Front stage testing done the same day as the headunit install.

The trunk in the gto is so small I didn't want to go with a standard wood box because it would just take up so much room. So here is the fiberglass box I had made:

how do you kill a 56k modem with pictures?

second: can sound deadening resist engine heat?

The gas tank in the trunk doesn't really effect any thing beside giving you little trunk space.

2. Yes, The hood is one layer of Xtreme and then hood liner by dynamat.. It really helped with keeping the hood cool.

3. The cap is used as a "noise filter".

It really does cut down on heat and noise. The hood is cool to the touch, before it would be really hot.

The V8 LS2 that powers the GTO sound like a sewing machine inside the car when at high rpm. You can't heard any of that now. Big improvement.

The only thing I don't like about it is the silver color. I wish it was black so it would blend in better. I been thinking about painting it.

I use it to totally filter out the alt ripple from the amp power supply. Nothing more. As a noise filter, a cap works great, it doesn't need to really provide any current to speak of, just do some very minor voltage stabilization.

I bet that Punch 150 is a current hog.

my punch 75 draws alot of current and voltage

Stock alt drops to 12.7 on heavy music bascially running all battery even with car on =(
