chrylser is using a STANDARD ALTERNATOR. its not a gift from god....its a ****ing regular alternator. but you failed at trying to save your *** on that one.

OK so youve worked on Sebrings, SRT4s, Jeeps, Concordes, etc. Big deal to me. Im talking about the RT/SRT8s here and the computer controlled system with the HO 160 amp alternator. And this again, is not in all Chryslers since 140s are the common alternators in most of the Magnums/300s/Chargers. Its when you get into the police package and up that you get the high output 160s.

I thought that I was dropping to even 12s at one point and then would have to call Iraggi to upgrade my alternator with bigger diodes SINCE it is computer controlled and then I put a DMM on it and voila. I guess magic happend with 2 1800s...

I like hawker(odessy), kinetic(and all the rebranded kinetics), the new powermaster is pretty stout.

Vids don't do much without a clamp meter and DMM to show how much ACTUAL power you are getting.

Just a DMM won't do it.

Really my question was like... about higher end batteries. On another level then optima and kinetics? Even if they prices are extreme. Basicly I want the best battery I can put in my blazer 90 s-10. Gm side posts style. Dispite price.

Why dont you guys make your own thread to argue about rather or not this guys system is stable?

I guess Ill stick to a red top. Would go yellow, but I dont plan on ever playing my stereo with the engine off. And red top offers more power, for that situation..right?
