most powerful battery..?

Caps wont help, Batteries wont help........ WTF? I just want to upgrade my sound system without worrying about my alt going on me. I have a red top in the front and a little Kinetik in the back. but then again my stuff is pretty modest. 1 premier TS-W3001D4, a 750 watt super sport, and a zx 650.4 kicker.

a nice AGM battery in the front and 1 in the back will be good.

batteries DO help. anyone that says otherwise is plain out wrong. what do you think backs up the alternator when its maxed out?

1) batteries DO help do back up your alternator, if your working the system hard and your alt is trying to keep up

2) batteries DONT help if your alternator is already big enough to do the job on its own

they DO give the alternator a bigger load. my response is for someone with an HO alt. i have an HO alt, so thats where my advice comes from.

however, you can still run extra batteries off the stock alt without harm. you should talk to snoopdan (i believe it was him). ran many batteries off a stock alt with no problem, until he upgraded his alt. it MIGHT of been lilmaniac, but im pretty sure its snoopdan.

Do you personally think I will have a problem with power? Im going to have 1500-1700 (since apparently the zx 1500.1 is under rated) rms. Do you think ill have problems with a Yellow top up front, 1/0 ga. wiring through and through, a 6 farad cap, and the big 3 done? Or do I need to worry about extra batterys in the back / HO-alts?

with that power i wouldnt worry too much.
