mixing sub years

One of my 03 kicker comps is blown. It's hard to find 03 comps so would it be ok to replace it with an 07 kicker comp. It'd look weird but would it sound alright?

unless they changed the sub in any way it should sound the same. of course this is after the new one's suspension loosens to a equal amount.

They are quite likely different - Kicker changes things up alot.
