Soo how many watts can a BL truely take?

So i just snagged a BL from someone on here and have a massive 3000, which is probably able to put out up to 2600 rms, maybe a tad bit more. So im curious what a BL could take on a daily system so i can set my dmms properly. They guy im getting it from said he had it hooked on a kicker 2500 and just set his gains well and the sub pounded. It has the new tinsels, full cooling and flatwind aluminum coils i believe.

A friend of mine sent about 1800 watts daily to his BL, and it seemed like it wanted more.

Odds are you'll kill it...

Nothing wrong with head room, but when you abuse it is when bad things happen.

Ya i know they say the qs will take 1800 with all options, id imagine the bl would take over 2kw.

uh maybe the recommended power, which is 1000rms, but with the extra options, you can run 1300rms daily without problems.

Dave's sq car has a little over 5,000 watts on tap and available...

Does he use it? Hell no. ~300 watts on a pair of tweeters in a sq car...

No way man, i had 1200 on a Q and it wanted more, this thing has to be able to take more then that.

Honestly, I am not sure, I had 2 1750.1s strapped at 1 ohm on it and it just didn't have the output I was expecting on it, fully loaded daily. The bass was loud but it felt empty, hard to explain. I have gotten more into clarity over loudness recently though so.. could have just been I was tired of the old BOOM sound I have always heard. just my 2 cents.
