This is driving me nuts. It's perfect the way it is but yall know how it is.

I would hate to drop $800 and not get a big gain. At this point I don't see a big gain unless I go to stuff like the utopia or find a Thesis set $$$$

Maximo and tempo. Never the Elates.
I've been studying the Graphs on the Mille vs my XLs. It looks like on paper the Mille is what I'm looking for. Another plus, its a direct swap

If It's possible for you to audition the Elates over there, at a dealer or maybe someone you may know, do have a listen before you commit to something else.

I think you will like what you hear.

I'm in a dead area now. If I was back in Va I could find some for sure. They are also a bit out of budget for now.

You're dropping money for nothing. Unless you go to a three way set I highly doubt you're going to be satisfied with the performance incrrease you get from spending $800+.

Get some nice amps. Or one of Victor's tube preamps.

Cant go 3 way. I had a dream the wife told me I could glass the A pillar, then I woke up. Amps are as good as its going to get for the space I want to use. I got plenty of power and processing. I'm looking for a good used Be kit now.

I might just wait a few months and do this. Or just do what I originally wanted. A 1 inch drop and sway bar.

Well looking forward to what your upgrade will be from the HSK XLs. They seem to be universally beloved over here and I'm excited to see what an upgrade would be from them : 0...

Not to bust some balls but for that price, the build quality of the crossover does not look up to par at all, My massive audio crossovers look almost identical to that. Could have been just bad picture taking though.

Hifitest.de did a comparison between 10 speakers, the plutoniums came out on top. I wouldn't discount them.
