Morel Virtus Nano Carbon MW4 as a dedicated 350 to 4k mid?

I listened to a pair of these and was pretty impressed at the midrange clarity. Seemed quite neutral, uncolored, punchy too.

Anyone ever use these as a midrange from around 350 hz to 4k? Seems like they would do well in that capacitary, hella easy to mount as well, versatile options.

Got an option to pick up a pair, for less than 4 Benjamin's so, considering them as a midrange option.

1" BeTA berylliums in the sail panel, angled in towards venter between seats, the 4" Virtus where pictured slightly cambered inward/upward a bit of axis but aimed close to the center between the two seats at same termination point as the tweeters respective of their relative height differences. Crossed at 300hz-.50 to 4k. Not sure if they can outdo the Xcelsus XXM325 in their pods, maybe.. Rainbow Audio Profi PL-W6C "Crystal Cone" 6.5" midbas

I prefer mids either close to the midbass (ie Kick panel) or close to the tweeter (ie tweeter in kickpanel or mid on the dash). Systems seem to image better that way.

I usually do as well. Trying to see if I could do it without prefab or custom pods. If I could pull the windshield, the dash corners would be the place.

I get it and the kickpanels aren't always the safest place especially in a daily driver.
