you probably know this, but wouldnt you be better off buying a 200$ comp set and spending the other 800$ on sealing your doors

I did that with the last car. It had a true mid bass front stage. I didn't go as far with this one. Guess what? This one sounds just as good and it's only running a 2 way.

We sell Cerwin Vega and I have the ST65C Stroker components in my car. SPRO65C has an extremely loud tweeter which is probably the furthest thing from "SQ" that you can get in a small format. When I've talked about it with my sales rep he said one vehicle with the Stroker Pro components had the treble EQ bands dropped -12 dB to try to balance them with the woofers. For daily enjoyment SPRO65C is not going to do it for the OP, in my opinion.

I'm thinking I'm going to keep my mid. Seems it's got the mid bass about as good as it gets.

Leaning toward just going to the Mille tweeter now.

Haha mine. 6.5" - beautiful midbass, 28mm silk dome. I read reviews somewhere that Ground Zero higher end comps were amazing. If you can find, rainbow platinums used (unlikely). Rainbow vanadium, but that's hard to find. New B2 ref comps under $400 are supposed to be a beauty. Lastly, I would also consider the Focal PS 165FX flax cone.

You got it the other way around man. Sealing the doors was done on a budget in his build.

I guess I should have said im looking for stuff better than HSK XLs.

Nothing you can go on Alibaba and get from the build house.
