Me again, sub suggestions and box

So I have been all over the place on what I wanna do for sub's and a box in my 15 Silverado crew cab. I am returning a jl audio power wedge+ that I got 2 weeks ago. Sounds good but no low end. So then I thought build a sealed box between my rear seat and console for a 12 inch Kenwood kfc-w12ps I have. Tried the 12 inch just now and man it smokes the jl in low end but even on a 250 watt RMS amp it bottoms out when pushed too far. It has a xmax of 7.35 mm. So now returning the jl I'll have a bit more money to play with ..not a lot but a little. So I was now thinking build that sealed box behind my console (~ 1.1 cuft) and get a sq hds208. Would that sound as good or better than the Kenwood? Throw me some suggestions on subs that will kill this Kenwood, run good in a sealed enclosure (or in a small ported enclosure) and not cost a ton. You guys are gonna get sick of me real soon w my ocd ..lol

Sealed just as I have not a lot of room. I would love ported and a custom box comes with a custom price. I'm good at woodworking and could make one just dont exactly how with a sealed angled box. I've looked at their boxes just Leary

Lol I figured. 1. Being a Kenwood and 2. The cone excursion is small compared to any of those 8s. Would sealed make for a crappy box for any of those. Just scared on trying my hand at a ported in the fear of screwing it up...don't judge lol

If you want lows, do not go sealed. end of story.
