Okay I skimmed throught he thread real quick.

1. Why do you have BLs AND Alphas?

2. Why is there two different people posting pics of the setup

3. Why are there so many tape measuring pics!?

That box i have in there now is 26 i believe
And i still have not replaced that piece haha.....and i have no clue where my back dome light is ....it fell off a long time ago and i never bothered looking for it:laugh:

Thats prolly the first too go....rear dome light....than a lil louder ur console above head will go.....and i think a lil more and that piece on mirror will go

I cant remember if its exactly that order but i think so.....its annoying ha

My explorer is an XLS so it comes with the least options possible. I dont have a overhead console.

1. I was going with BL's then got a deal on the Alphas the Bl and Alpha was just a comparison pic.

2. I am the one installing the batteries and other stuff, the other pictures being posted is a buddy of mine building my box.

3. Issues to whether or not the demension of my box is gonna fit in the back of my explorer. (other explorer owners beg to differ

Why would you double the bottom? I build all my boxes out of 1" or bigger, and the only thing I double is the baffle.

For strength, mazzasec just picked up the box so there will be pics later tonight. Still waithng on the carpet to finish everything up.

Yeah, I still kept the original ones and I added one in front of the port where the back wall and floor meet and the other one on top of the port wall where the front wall and the port wall meet. Needless to say that was fun trying to figure out all the angles.

We don't have it going right now. We are waiting for the carpet to get here so i can finish the box. Looks good and is heavy as hell. I would say some where close to over 150lbs.
