Well see now you are putting words into my mouth. You asked me what were the dimentions of the box I told you that and you said that it would not fit. The most that I could do is 44.5" and the only way that I would fit 45" was to remove the panels. Well, as you can see from the pics, the box is 45" wide and the panels are still there. Not trying to sound like an *** sorry. Haha, well the amp is going to be mounted to the box right above the batts.

Well here are some pice from the build today. I still have a little more to do tomorrow.

and yes I will be adding other 45's in the the other direction as well.

My camera died on me so I don't have any more pics of where I am at right now. All that is left is to cut the port wall out and put it togeter. Will have more pics tomorrow

Are they all screws?

that many screws might actually weaken the integrity of the wood, just FYI.

one screw every 6" is more than enough, the glue is wat actually holds the thing together.

45" does not fit between the plastic pieces....what were you arguing?

And where are ya gonna put the amp/amps....if ya didnt already say?

45 does fit only part it doesnt fit and it is at the end corners which I will cut so it will fit!

Also Skip my batteries go back farther cause I took of the flaps on the back of the seat which gains a good 1 1/2 inch

Yeah, I did go a little crazy on the screws. Haha, but I used alot of wood glue as well.

me and skip know exactly how much that part cost to replace at the ford dealership lol **** $45 piece of plastic.... ill take some damage pics of my xplorer ... skip how deep was ur box?

That box i have in there now is 26 i believe

And i still have not replaced that piece haha.....and i have no clue where my back dome light is ....it fell off a long time ago and i never bothered looking for it:laugh:

Thats prolly the first too go....rear dome light....than a lil louder ur console above head will go.....and i think a lil more and that piece on mirror will go

I cant remember if its exactly that order but i think so.....its annoying ha
