Ive been driving my 03 Chevy Cavalier for about 2 years now and Im pretty much sick of it. Its small, ugly, stiff clutch a lot of times, etc. For a while I was thinking of getting a small SUV but I thought about it again and realized it would be too much money. So I guess what I want now is just a bigger 4 door sedan car that is better quality than my cavalier and that I know is going to last a long time. What do you guys think? Probably 10K budget.

jetta is too girly. Maybe a passat. European cars are pretty good though right? The thing im concerned about is the maintainace price. From what I hear its expensive every time they are in the shop.

big 4 door for 10k.... avalon xls?? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif If ya have the money to keep her going an ls400 would be nice as well //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

lol wow never seen a passat with a tahoe conversion kit, im wanting to get a vw golf, i was wanting either a small suv like a grand cherokee, but hatchback would be cheaper on gas and insurance

One of the reasons I decided not to get a SUV. Plus gas. Man I hear that the passat can get up to 40 mpg. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif

I love my cavalier. Great on gas about 35mpg on highway and 28 city. Mine is stick too. I have the 2.2 ecotec in mine. Actully is pretty quick. They are easy to fix and the only downfall is everyone has one, which is cool with me. That is my new alarm system, something that fits in well, lol!

If I was to look into another vechichle that was reliable I would look into an accord or a maxima. Those are nice sedans that you could get for around 10gs and still look good and have a decent size trunk.

my friends aunt has a nissan, i think a altima or a maxima one of those two, but that thing hauls *** and has a bunch of room inside, huge trunk too. we were drivin up the summit to lake tahoe and she was goin like 90 no problem.
