Alrighty peoples, I finally sold all my old gear and upgraded to some new stuff. Here is what I have now...
-Apline CDA-9886 (installed)
-JL Audio 300/2
-Alpine MRD-M605
-Pioneer Premier PRS comps
-20 sq ft of Damplifier
-45-ish sq ft of Damplifier Pro
-50 sq ft of R-Blox sound deadener (trunk only)
Basically what I was looking for, like many others, is a decent sounding system while not breaking the bank. I ended up ordering Rsd comps a few weeks ago, but as many of you know, I was plagued with a bad Xover. After dealing with that issue, Phoenix Gold left a bad taste in my mouth, so I decided to go a different route. After a couple weeks of research, and asking you guys, and countless hours annoying Nismos14, I ended up going with the Pioneer Premier PRS comps, which I bought off onlinecarstereo.com.
And just recently I ordered a MAW-15 while their sale was going on.
Now I know this isn't going to be the greatest set up, I'm not saying it is, but I think it will sound pretty good. Eventually, when funds permit, I plan on ordering a JBL W12Gti, along with an undecided amp to power it (suggestions?).
This is what I have finished so far...the MAW-15 will be arriving Tuesday, and that's when I'll be finishing up the rest of the install.
