Low Ohm light - Help!

well thanks for clarifying. i'll try to single out which speaker wire is shorted
..or if I disconnect all the wires and just power up the amp and the light is on, then that'd just mean the amp is screwed rather than a short?

brb.
i would think so

i doubt any thing is wrong with it though

probably just user error or faulty speakers

Try that first.

Disconnect all your speakers, then see if the low ohm light is still on.

I have seen that happen twice. Something internal to the amp.

thanks for the help, ran out of daylight outside by the time i had time

will it cause any damage to the speakers if i just let it keep playing for say the next week or so? or would it just be the amp that screws up if it is the amp that's screwed up.

I don't recommend this. Find the short or determine if the amp is problematic. Let it go much longer and the amp could be damaged further. This in turn could fry your speakers.
