3/4 doubled.

Thats what I thought but pics make it look thin lol But that might have been good too still would have been 1 inch thick ? I should have done that. I didnt have enought space for doubled up 3/4.

On small boxes i usually only do double baffle on sub side.

imagine 1.5in all around, its frikken huge. I was scared because if i wreck it will fly if not mounted good enough //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif.

In your 96 ext cab it would have been fine doing the same.

Thats the reason I didnt wall mine, tough to secure safely ! I built a base out of 2x6 bolted through the floor with 1/2 bolts and big washers and box bolts to platform so its pretty solid.

I succ at wood work so i made lots of ugly cuts and uneven cuts. I have to fix wayyyyyyy too many issues hahah..Anyway if i see the bondo is not holding i will go fiber glass which i did not want to do.

This was my first wall so i plan to tear it down in the near future to make an even better one. Once extra bondo is done and subs are mounted and wired i will make a video of it in action.

I may even record how i crawl in the box thru the sub hole //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Question ? Why do you guy build these in the truck ? Seem it would be much easier on the bench ? or will it not fit through the doorway ? Looks like it would, But I am old and hate crawling around in the truck. As far as wood work I am pretty good and if you lived near me I would have fixed you up with getting it all pre fabed up. I would like to build a wall- not for my truck but for someone else. I think it would be fun.

I know mine wouldn't fit through the door if I didn't build inside. Also, it would be awful to build your box and then you were off by an inch and it wouldn't fit

I just had to do it and it made a **** storm for me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I went ahead and tested without bracing the top single baffle.. After a few songs i tried la roux decaf version and all i heard was a large kabooooom!!

Top bracing in the back blew apart so i have to fix that now which i may just do a 45 to cover the crease.

Haha amp isnt even half gain.. I havent tried going full since my wall was... Made imperfect....

Port wall joint busted from the pressure unloading and my smart idea of doing a single baffle roof for the wall.

If you ever get them moving thats seats going forward again lol but you couldnt drive with it up that loud so i it could be that far back when cruising.

But i still have room to drive, but uncomfortable.

Ima leave it as is till im ready to rebuild.

I didnt fully check my measurements top to bottom so the front baffle made it close.

But its running and bumping..

Im just cleaning it all up now.
