Los33 2000 GMC Sierra Build Log

They cracked because they are think plastic taking a 157db beating. U could try some foam on backside to try and help squeaks.
well that's not a problem for me, so it might be worth it. when you get a chance if you still have the panels id love some better pics and a measurement of the max diameter it can hold.

This build is gonna be slow since now it decided to rain >//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif !!!!

Started the deaden process.

Im leaving the back wall since i plan to glue wood to the back wall so i can have something to sglue and screw the base wall to. Deaden will be going over the wood to keep it even.

Heres how it looks now

The edges will get some if i have extra after finishing the whole truck as they are very dirty. Also the center hump got overlapped for extra road noise deadening.

Don't forget the roof while your at it.
I am.. The truck will be left unhooked off the battery and left taken apart until the build is fully finished.

I just need to find my blade so i can do the back wall and cut the squares of deadener.

I am planning to just place a small peice of deadener where the seats will go as i do not believe with the seats on top it will not flex or cause issues..

Just gonna do the open spots and the foot area. Especially wheel wells.

This coming week hope to finish the deadening and start the wall..

Just need to measure for the batteries i will be putting underneath

U should spray foam all them holes. Like that part where the sunroof would be. And inside the roof brace
The back side holes on the roof i am not worried about as ill have wood blocking those areas so no pressure will flex them.

Where the sun roof would be i got lazy and just said fuuk it.. I have enough deadener to go back tho.

if you get the time to explain how to pull the roof and everything apart and back together id definitely be interested in learning how!
Ill post pics of what to do, but it was very easy just by looking at how its attached.

ya i dont doubt it, but i know there's always tricks that make things come off easier without worrying about cracking trim and whatnot. fortunately GM's are easy to work on

Yeah, GM's are the best to do audio builds with, imo.

I've put a lot of radios in GM vehicles for my friends. So much easier than Hondas, Rams, Fords, and Mazdas. I think GM trucks are the easiest. One panel pops off in front of the radio, lol
