I dont have much time to do stuff because of work and newborn girl.

When i do start i will be doing a step by step photo of most if not all steps.

This way new guys can get a better idea because i still am not 100% on how to do the wall or even mount it for that case.

I may do what adulbrich did or purchase new net/grill that was originally there and just fiberglass them.

nah eff that. this is 1000x easier than having to work with glass.

Dual 6.5" Pods

qlogic sells the kick panels for about $150-$200 depending on the dealer or whatever. well worth it for custom molded things.

how much is your time worth? we're talking about 4-6+ hours for each door.

The doors will be my last worry. I still have to deaden the whole truck then start building the wall and base.

I had those door pods and they are cheap and crack. They made a noise every bump I hit driving down the road and lasted one show and cracked because of door flex. I would suggest not buying those pods.

oh my bad lol its just not my flavor i guess.

they look like they fit well.. why did it pop or make noise? I can email the owner and ask him to provide an explanation and hopefully make improvements to the design. I really want to know because I want to run those pods.

did they fit a 6.5/6.7 easy? looks likeyou had to open up the door

They fit two Rockford pro 6.5s just fine... When u mount them to the door it's just plastic pods bolted to the door panel. I think there was 4bolts that hold it to the panel. Well every bump u hit going down the road made them squeak against each other. I made some out of wood that worked better then these plastic pods. Currently my doors are at the shop get fiberglassed pods done for $110 per door.

These are ones I made in about 2 hours from start to doors back on the truck.

I'm not good enough with wood nor do i have the proper tools to make circle cuts like that :/ if i had a shop say they could do it 110 a door id run with it lol.

sounds like if you just put some black foam between the pods and the door itd stop the squeak and using better/more bolts would fix that.

when did you buy those pods? they have changed models over the years.

yeah that looks alot easier than mine. I think they accidentally sent me 1 gauge lugs and mislabeled the plastic bag as 1/0 because it was hard as hell for me to get mine to fit.
