Looking for Loudness?

well the problem I'm having with L7s is its recommended rms is 600w in ported rather then 750 in sealed. also, they only have a frequency of 20-100hz. Two of them would handle 1,200w rms to run properly and they wont hit any mid-bass at all.

whats hdc btw?

wat are u talking about man you dont use subs for midbass most people use a sub for is 80hz and under you want your subs to hit low notes

and people run 12's ported on 1000 easily they can take some power i am giving mine 800 each ported in a 5.2cu ft box tuned to 34hz and they get loud and handle it with no problem

like i said in the above post get 2 dual 4ohm subs and wire them up to 1ohm and give them around 800-1000rms a piece in a low tuned ported box and they will please you

when i had mine only getting 425rms a piece they were still loud and then when i doubled the power it was crazy

A ported enclosure typically provides for better power handling, especially with SPL-oriented subs. A pair on that amplifier would match well. And you don't want them playing over ~80hz.

HDC is Audioque's line of subwoofers.

Audioque.com - You'd probably be better of with their 2.5's
