Not enough spl, thinking of moving from w6's to w7's.

So I'm thinking about selling my two 13.5 w6v2's and picking up a 13.5 W7. Running em off a 1000/1. I'd save some space for now and be able to get another w7 down the road. Any opinions? Or should I maybe go in another direction?

They sound great and all, but my main issue here is i've never heard any subs that were only geared for SPL. So to be honest I have no idea if I'd dislike the difference in SQ between JL shit and much cheaper other options.

that is a really stupid idea. JL is way overpriced anyways. You can sell your 6's for over 600 bucks, and get some less expensive, but great quality stuff if you really want more spl

and go ported, it will make you 3 db louder which is a ton when it comes to spl. Everyone will tell you that.

Yeah I'm really tempted to go in another direction company wise. I'm just nervous that im so used to the sq of jl that I wont like other brands. But yeah I'm def thinking about dropping jl period.

But personally, I have yet to hear a better sounding driver then the w6 line up

Just made a box for 2 13w6v2 and 2 15" RE SE's

Feeding 1200 to both combos, I found the w6 really does excell.

Well, if I'm selling both 13.5 w6's i'd imagine I can get around 600 or so. They are both only 6 months old or so. Next question is whether to keep the 1000/1v2. I can net another 550 or something right there for that. Sooo - thats like 900 bucks.

Space is an issue. I have a 2000 Pontiac grand am. The trunk is average size, but I dont think I'd have room for 2 xxx's or anything with outrageous port/cuft requirements. Also thinking of going sealed just because I really love monstrous lowend.
