Looking for Loudness?

Ok, so I have 500 to spend on just subs give or take a bit.

My amplifier (Alphasonik PMA1000DA) handles (RMS) 1000w@4ohm, 1500w@2ohm, and 2060w@1ohm

I want VERY loud, ported, and I want it to vibrate the shit out of my car.

Also, Some quality would be nice too.

I could put in four 250w, 375w, or 500w.

Will I like two at 750w or 1000w?

Or, Should I go with one ridiculous sub at 1500w or 2000w?

I need some sub recommendations based on my system.

I don't know much about off brands like Almani, Audiobahn, MB Quart, etc...

I will probably order off onlinecarstereo or sonicelectronix, so go by their prices unless you can recommend something better.

A pair of Kicker L7's would work pretty nicely and would be under your budget.

Go with a pair of 15's if you have the space.

2 15's l7's or 4 12's l7's if you want just loudness

Overkill is not a problem here. I can always turn the gain down. Wouldn't more subs move more air and make stronger vibes? 4 L7s are wayyy over my budget.

4 12s in not enough volume will not be as loud as 2 in the proper volume

it will all depend on how much room you have go get measurements of your trunk so you know how much room you have to work with
