Looking For Good IB Subs

Many subwoofers that will best suit an IB application will be tailored and built for that main purpose. Others can work, but usually not their main application.

I could find info on their site nor a price but I think 10's may work better...

IB is very dependent on cone area, as power is limited by mechanical limitations. The bigger, the better. If you can only work with 10's, that's okay, but research will be wanted.

 
Im gunna try and mount my baffle to the back of the the opening into the trunk like this one VVVV Which is a little different then my accords but not much... So I could 2 12's accross or 3 10's staggered I think...

why ib? for more trunk room? i can tell you that you will never be happy with it.

use a single 10" and seal it off and it will be 10dbs louder than 2 12s ib...

Eh, I agree that I doubt he'd be happy with it. I disagree with the notion that the IB could not be loud enough. I've seen people pull off some significant numbers and sound excellent doing it.

I recall 2 15" AE IB-A's being near the 140 mark, 2 15" IDQv2's getting over the 140 mark, and some IA Flatlyne's being in the mid 130's no problem. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

On the other hand, IB takes craftsmanship and a good bit of work. It could end up being output challenged if something goes wrong.

More trunk space, no one here has ever done it, and it maybe be fairly easy in my car...

I may not be happy with it... But Im not looking for crazy numbers Im happy with higher 130's... Im gunna try and make it easy to take out so if I dont like it Ill just take it out or try different subs with it...

ive heard the funky pup is actually a great IB woofer
