Looking for decent SQ subwoofers

for his price range i think rl-p's are hard to beat..he didnt say whats the best he gave a price limit..you would have knowin had you READ the ****in question..

I appreciate all of the suggestions, and I myself have never heard a XXX, but I know it is well out of my price range. I don't want to spend more then 250 MAX that includes shipping. As I said I am open to pretty much all configs... single, or 2 subs.... 10's, 12's, or 15's.... just trying to find the best SQ sub/subs for the money that will still get loud. Thanks for the help!

dont mind the fools bro they think everyone who comes here has money comming out of his ***..and half dont even read the full question they just post whatever..for your price range id suggest rl-p's from sound splinter, icons from ssa,Q's from fi all 3 have really good sq and can get loud here are the links to all 3 sub manufactures

O yes, I think every one has moey coming out there as, as I obviously do, shouldent every one? Im not saying the RL-P is a bad sub, and I would love to have one (actuly 2 15"s), I just personaly beleive the IDMax is a little bit better of a sub and why not spend the extra 20-30 to get a better sub with a box? you will have that in materials alone. I hope the OP sees the point in spending a little more now instead of more later when hes not happy.

I think it was towards me, I sugested it, and there is actuly a 05 XXX 15" in the classifieds for 275, its a little over you limit but its one hell of a sub.

Nah he quoted me, he's just too busy being a jackass to even realize who his arguement is with.
And I agree, a used xxx is generally close to his price range. But god forbid I suggest looking for one.

im not arguing that..i myself would take a used idmax over a new rl-p the idmax is a great sub..if he can find it used..

Not sure what power your amp does, but 2 12" Assassins would work nicely. I ran 2 8's in the GF's car, sounded very good on all kinds of music, hit hard, and got pretty loud. The 12's would be even more of a good thing. Now she runs a single 15" Q with more power and it still sounds good and gets louder then the 8's, so the Q is also an option as is the RL-P.

If buying new then I'd do Assassins, if buying used look at a Q or RL-P....

I think this is your best bet and most economical choice: Dayton HO 15"

The HO's are amazing as far as SQ goes, comparable to an IDQ, without a doubt. And the 15 would move a LOT of air, so it would thump when you need it. A single 15" is more than enough. Just give it 800wRMS and you're set. It's far under your budget too.
