No theres nothing wrong with either of them. I've just always had my eye on the older ones. I could do the newer ones, but then i would only be albe to do one and the price tag on those things are up there.

In this pic you can sorta see the 3 RE 10's in my Focus and tell they don't eat your trunk up....

Yea those don't eat the trunk up much at all. More room in the trunk then when i had my 2 8's in there. Now were those ported or sealed?

I didn't even think about those. Whats the price on those? and what box size sealed box is needed? I was looking for something that can work in around .7 cubes, so then the box won't be huge for 4 of them.

You need a Critical Mass 5000 UL12 neo dual 1.5 it would be perfect for a DD M3 amp...all the sub you'll ever need //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I think there may be some for sale in classified also...well worth the money though they retail at $1999 each you can usually find nice used ones for under $1000

And for that price he could buy two or three very high quality subs, which would perform much better than that single sub would.
CM makes very nice stuff, but their prices render most of their stuff as obsolete to be perfectly frank.

I really like this choice. Looks like i have to do a few things and try to get rid of some subs. I probably couldnt do 4 of them then. But i would do 3, because i wouldn't have enough money for 4, 3 is even going to be pushing it in price. I'm still going to keep my eye open. I just like sealed boxes. I probably won't get the output i do with my 8's, but it may be close with 3-4 12's.

Thanks for the input and i agree. I can get more subs for a cheaper price and have more output than one of those subs.

the re's are sealed .7 each independent chambered

the box is built like a reverse truck style box...so the angle is towards the rear seat...front is straight

Alright. Yea i was thinking about doing the box like that. I kinda want to try something else than 8's, but i'll see what i'm gonna do. Still thinking about everything

Just to throw out another option (even though its not released yet) Stereo Integrity Mag, or get an older 15" mag maybe. Or maybe check out the Image Dynamics IDQ or ID Max. Just some other options you can throw into the mix.

Hell why not the Image Dynamics ID series? Very reasonable cost, and have been given some very high reviews by highly regarded forum members. Dont need tons of power to get going either. Of course the IDQ/IDMax are awesome subs too, but don't come cheap. I never get tired of recommending the IDQv3, I know anyone who gets one will be thrilled with it. It is, in a word, amazing....

Yea i was thinking about the idq's. They are a little bit out of budget, but maybe i could find them used. I'm looking to stay at the 12" size because 15" is a little too tall for my trunk. I could also do the new mag but i'm not sure when they will come out.

My first idea was to do 3 idq12v3's. I might have to look into the id series, but i'm not sure they will handle the power. I wish i had some more cash right now. But if i need to i'll buy a pair or 3 of them. And then get another later.
