Looking for an SQ sub

I've owned kickers and currently own 4 dd 1508's. I think i'm ready to try some more sq oriented subs. I don't like the peaks i get from a ported box so i want to go with a sealed box because i like the sound from a sealed box. I think i want to run either 3 or 4 12's in a sealed box. I drive a ford focus (the sedan model) , so space is and issue. I don't want the box to take up the whole trunk. I was thinking of the idq12v3 or something along the lines of that. The problem i have with the idq is that i don't know if 3 or even 4 of them can handle the power from my dd m3. Looking for suggestions guys thanks.

You need a Critical Mass 5000 UL12 neo dual 1.5 it would be perfect for a DD M3 amp...all the sub you'll ever need //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I think there may be some for sale in classified also...well worth the money though they retail at $1999 each you can usually find nice used ones for under $1000

I think thats quite a bit out of my budget. I'm just looking to get rid of the dd's and basically with the money from the dd's buy new subs. I loved my dd's, but i just want to be able to listen to any type of music and have a flat response from the sub. I just feel i don't get that with the dd's.

Those could be a possibility. Thanks for the suggestion. I don't have to buy new either. Used is just fine with me.

Yea, but $1000 dollars just wouldn't work on my budget since i'm going to college next year and i gotta save up for spending money. So basically i'm looking for something in the 500 - 600 dollar range i guess. Or a trade i could do for the 8's.

i had 3 RE 10's in the trunk of my 07 Focus ST and they had excellant SQ and didn't eat the trunk up...but a M3 would be too much maybe a DD m1a would be perfect for a setup like that or even an old school Kicker XS100 or 50

I didn't even think about those. Whats the price on those? and what box size sealed box is needed? I was looking for something that can work in around .7 cubes, so then the box won't be huge for 4 of them.

I got an ed nine.1 sitting in my room and an older 2 channel hifonics that does 600w @ 4ohms. I could always downgrade the power, but i like the m3 and figured i would stick with it.
