Looking for a single sub or a pair of 12s to blow away my CVRS

wow, a lot of incorrect responses here. Let me see, he has two 15's sealed on 1500 watts and some of you guys are saying two aq hdc's or dd 3500's would get louder than his 15's off the same power. Funny thing is i don't see two 12's ported getting louder than his 15's off that amp.Just because he is going ported he is loosing cone area and the kicker cvr's are no slouch. You may get louder in the higher frequencies but the 15's will beat them in the low end. I personally would look into a bigger amp before just buying 12's and porting them

Lol you make fun of the incorrect responses then add to them.

Theres more to it than cone area and power. Excursion, motor force, cabin gain and enclosure are all very important. There are too many variables and you cant just focus on one thing.

Alright then, genius. Using that logic, 2 of these:

will be hell of a lot louder than 2 of these:

LOL

Hell given op's power, 2 2512's would be louder and dig just as low, if not lower ported, vs the CVR 15's sealed.

Iam willing to be in a properly designed box, a single AQ or 3500 could be louder and get down just as good even with that power.

t-money, you have been here for 6 years with 1k posts, im guessing you live in the dome, because no way you would have lasted that long in the tech section spouting stuipd crap like that.

op. like i said before single 15 in a well designed enclosure youll be happy.

No Kangaroux you're the genius cause we all know a beefier looking sub will always play louder than one thats not as beefy, lol and Kushy_dreams my posts is not making fun of anybodys posts, wow talk about ignorant.i tell you guys what, when the op does what you say and is still not happy then you can tell him what he did wrong, i have maybe 5 posts in the thunderdome and i've been in caraudio since 1986(25 years). I'll let you smart guys with all the experience give the advice, i don't have a problem. Funny thing is my friend was in the same boat as the OP and did something like what most of you are suggesting and he wasted his money and was not happy. Sorry but i'm not here to argue but to help. OP i hope your happy with whatever decision you make, i'm out. Just curious how many of you have experience with kickers cvr's? i do. OR are yo guys doing what most kids in here do, go by hear say and offer advice without experience with said products. Like i said, whatever the OP chooses i hope your happy. No wonder most of the veterans don't come around too often, this place is all about young kids giving out advice for things they haven't experienced for themselves.

those 15's sealed will not get lower than DD or AQ 12's ported. just becuase they are bigger does not mean they well get lower. you sir, need to study up a little more and stop looking in the walmart catalog for they new 2012 sony xplods

so you have experience with cvr's sealed then? and you have experience with dd and aq ported and tested them against each other right? I hope you say yes, cause you sound so convincing. I'll put my walmart sony explod subs against what you run anyday lol
