Yea you could do the same thing with the infinity -- find a normal 4x6 -- and the plate variety and compare the sound likly at the local circuit city...

So a true 4x6 will generally retain a bit more midbass, for obvious reasons. Where as the 4 inch speaker on the 4x6 plate will give me a little more sound quality...

I'd think it would be more sensible going with the 4 incher on the 4x6 plate, wouldn't it? I have a sub... I have nothing for midbass though, but sh1t... keep in mind I'm going from stock speakers + sub...
