Lifting Thread

I've got quite a bit at home. I have the BowFlex, treadmill, bike, flat bench with about 250lbs of weight. But I can't get motivated at home so I go to anytime fitness. Last night was leg night. Haven't been able to do legs in about two weeks due to doctors orders so went light. Did 260lbs on calf raises, 300lbs on leg press, and 300lbs on squats.

i usually let my puppy go by me and he shreds his toys or tears a piece of card board off a box and shreds that, when he was younger he ripped the carpet so now it has long strings handing out...

just destruction where ever he goes

he is getting better though

also hurt my elbow so ive not worked out in 2 weeks now.

and albrich legs are a must and no you didnt get enough in in track.

it helps to keep testosterone levels high when working out and will improve your other lifts much quicker.

and a good protein shake at work is great for a quick snack.

water and mix and good ones taste good.

 
I did enough leg days during track season
You can't build the rest of your body without doing squats. Squats are the key to building your entire body. Mix some squats in at least two times a week and watch your bench numbers go through the roof.

I'm a big proponent of the 5x5 program too.

Tonight was leg night

1st set 12 reps 320lbs

After the 390lbs, no squats for me. Legs were JELLO. Was scared Bill Cosby was gonna sneak up on me
 
I don't follow any set routines. I just go in and do stuff depending on what I want to work out lol. Seemed to work pretty **** well for me. A year and a half ago I was training for a show (stupid expensive meals made me broke) and our leg routine was absurd. First thing was leg press. 40, 30, 20, 10, 10, 20, 30, and then 40 reps. Got to the point where me and my buddy were doing full range leg press for over 1100 pounds for the sets of ten. We'd load up all the 45s that would fit and then had a girl sit on the top as well lol. Doing legs like that will kill ya but the rest of your body definitely works to catch up

I will never go that far. Even though on June 15 I have an appointment with my endocrinologist. I am hoping he will give me testosterone. If not, Sustanon 250 and Dianabol will be ordered.
