Largest Install you've seen...Or loudest daily

Although i am sure that thing is insanely loud... Unless the kriss mic has changed A LOT it doesn't read just 3 db higher. If I remember correctly it is crazy off(there again the old ones)We had a guy that hit a 162ish legal sealed up on the dash on one (maybe 6 or 7 years ago). And honestly he was barely breaking a 150 on a audiocontrol (the non pressure ones, and he metered on multiple ones) and it didn't sound very loud. And I could have swore I remember people saying they were like 10 db above the old termlabs. Now I am sure they aren't that off anymore but I would have to see a termlab and this mic side by side metering before I believed that no offense. That thing does look crazy though
Well you can see what it was reading in the vid. Gmonk claimed the meter was reading lower than what his van was actually doing. I measured him at 157.xx on music peak, aka 154 on the TL. You can see in the video it was hovering anywhere from 149-155. My buddy who consistently does ~141's on the TL did a 144.5 on my mic.

It may have been an older model that you were using, the one I have was calibrated around a year or so ago I believe.

Tommys and Frankies builds arent daily. Tommy has a Jeep SUV for daily and Frankie has a BMW for daily.
And Hanks van isnt even drivable.
Hank's van isn't driveable yet. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif They are working on that. Stupid composite leaf springs.

Well true. Problem is daily is a subjective term. Could mean musical and daily powered. If you go only by the fact of driven then a 80 hz tune drag vehicle could be daily. If you are talking about driven around town and music then I would have to say.............. thinkin.... Probably myself Don't hold me to it though there are a lot of LOUD systems that a lot of people have put a lot of work into. Just going off current thoughts. I might think of one later

I said in my 1st post in this thread I count daily as something that is built to play music, and used as your main means of transportation. If you dont get groceries in it, it isnt a daily driver.

W00t, very very true.

I'm about to start a budget build for temporary, but I'm going to go ahead and set it up all and build the box strong enough for the future upgrade :)

Well although that is your thoughts on it. A car that is still meant to drive around town bumping and is musical should count. Just because you choose not to put massive amount of miles on it doesn't mean it can't do it. Mine I don't drive every day due to the work I have into it and the gas mileage. I just bought a cheap car to drive. But I assure you there is NOTHING that would prevent from being driven every day. I take it out on my days off and go bumpin

Hey, Im building a wall and will still have seating for a pile of people. Gotta love a 20 foot long hearse.

I dont think a wall has a place in a daily. My opinion though. I can throw a wall in anything and be loud. But you have just lost 1/2 of your cabin space for what? Bass? Id rather see a clean, well thought out LOUD install any day of the week over any wall.

I think I just jizzed a little. drool.

Friend of mines daily.

****, old Tommy's still around. I have been away from the show scene for over 10 years and am just getting back in. Me and tommy used to show together all the time at the cruzin cuztomz shows run by Bill Cox. Anyone know what Bill Cox is up to now a days?

Since meade doesnt count, how about ho problems?

Tommys Ho Problems truck definately isnt a daily. Its somewhat driveable, but its so heavy the thing barely moves. And the windsheild is tinted so dark you cant really see out. He has driven it to his shop from a show, but even driving it from Seffner to Carlos' shop right down the street from my apartment, is like 15 minutes and he trailered it...

until a couple years ago he used to daily it i thought

X2. Even before I started the stereo build I didnt drive my hearse everyday. 1 because there are a lot of dumbasses on the road and I wanted to lessen my chances of getting hit and 2 because before I started adding all this weight I only got like 7 MPG. But when its finished I will still have plenty of seating and plan on using it to take kids to prom and stuff like that.
