ipod hold button issue

well i have an ipod video. i just replaced the headphone jack and hold button a few days ago. the headphone jack works fine, but for some reason the hold button doesnt. i am not sure what the problem could be. everything looks fine. any help?

send it to the Ipod store unless the warranty is void

i dont think there is even any warranty left.

call or email the person you bought the headphone jacke/hold button and get a replacement for a defective item.

also, check and see if the ribbon was put in properly or if it's loose.

I just emailed them. Also, I took the headphone jack and hold button completely out again, and put it back, and the hold button still isnt working. I will have to wait to see what the seller, says.
