L7 10 box help

altho that would still give your subs about 1.5 cubes each and the box would be tuned around 36 so that shouldnt make too much of a difference really

would i notice a differcnce with 6ft?
probably not..your already within manufacturs specs. bigger box more impedance rise and you dont have much power to lose lol. post some vids or pics of this ish tomorrow for sure. i suggest taking and ohm meter to your speaker wires that are entering your am just to double check your at the right impedence load. what do you have these three wired to anyway?

they are dual 2's. i end up getting a 1.3. but i do have a cheapo dmm. i know i was getting more power to the poineers but they are WAY louder. and i know that can't be right. i'm jumping on the pioneer band wagon. the 305's are louder than the type r's i had. i tried them on two different set ups in two different cars and the pioneers are louder deeper on less power. this is playing music. burps i don't know about

Lies, all lies. You will get banned for speaking ill of the AHHRRRGGGHS:sneaky:. Stop this nonsense immediately.

Seriously though, the 10s aren't as loud as the Pioneers, but to me they sound better. Something is going on with the system though, it should be a good bit louder than it is.

something has to be wrong with the box or wiring. L7's don't have alot of sq, but they are really loud in the right box. i did 2 of those in 4.5 cubes at 35hz, and they were as loud as any other 10 i've done. they require large boxes, but when you get them in the correct box, they pound. that being said, i'd personally rather do a round 12 in 2 cubes, instead of a square 10 in 2.25, but for pure loudness, kicker squares can hang with any sub close to it's power range.
