Port length...something seems wrong...

My box is 8.0ft^3 @ ~34hz. My port seems waaaaay too short. The port is 14.5x2.75, and it's 8.75 inches long. It was supposed to be 3.5 inches wide, but had to be moved due to miscalculation. Will this throw my tuning off too much? It was initially supposed to be 34hz, but it was moved .75 inches over and .75 inches forward.

The port is short because of how small the port area is for that size box.
