use 8 or 10 gauge primary wire...its about 2 bucks cheaper a foot, and the same **** shit.

I was just thinking that. I think he's one of those guys that's so smart that he's the only one that understands what he says, but it is extremely accurate and intelligent.

I thought your first reply summed it up pretty well, descriptions are listed at the sub category page and they are even listed from good - better - best....LOL I'll simply (if thats possible)

Klear - Copper Speaker Wire - slightly oversized

Karma - Same as above with a twist and tinned OFC

Kasa - Silver Plated with PE dielectric

And btw, for home theatre, they sell cables that are 12,000$ for a pair of 6ft'rs.

But they match the 75,000$ loud speakers.

There is a challenge out there, don't remember the details, where a guy is offering something like $100,000 to anyone who can tell the difference between an extremely high end cable and a much cheaper one. There haven't been any winners.

That "some guy" is named Richard Clark. The basis of the challenge is that if he can't measure the difference in resistance, inductance and capacitance between two cables with simple measuring equipment, that a listener can't hear the difference to the point that they can reliably pick either cable in an A/B double blind test.

He has a similar test with amplifiers basically saying that if the amps measure within a certain tolerance and are producing the same power, you can't hear the difference.
