Comments: I purchased some BT-104p and BT-104n terminals thinking they were a great deal. i got them they looked great. Upon trying to get them on my yellow top battery, i figure out that neither the pos or neg will fit, i can tighten them both as far as they will tighten and still easily pull them off the post with one hand. Very unhappy with the product, wish ida went another route since these arent working for me correctly, if they did work correctly i would love the things hence my buying of them in the first place.

just to reference its a brand new never used battery, and ive since bought another brand new battery that isnt a yellow top with the same results. So i get this half *** ****ameme excuse.

The issues is with the posts, lead is a soft metal and can be compressed easily. Some shops use tools to shave the lead posts, when cleaning a battery. The terminals are zinc and can easily compress the lead. If you had one of the terminals with a problem, I could see that its maybe a defect, but two terminals on the same battery would indicate the posts. Our terminals are quite popular for reasons you stated, they fit a wide variety of installations and fit many budgets.
What you can do to address the issue, I have seen some adapter rings, these are thin round shaped shims. You put them on your post first, then the terminal over the post. This adjusts the battery's post diameter back into standard specs.

fuck knukoncepts

I think those are the same ones I bought. Same problem. I don't remember what I did but I made them fit with force i believe and am using them still today.

I know exactly what youre talking about though.

I've had this problem before with other terminals, too. No matter how much you tighten them, they never fit snugly.

So he mentions these shims.... but no idea where to get them?

eh no luck needed, im not buying anythign from knu again i submitted the respose to them in hopes they would take it constructively or maybe provide me with a solution. instead i got this.

I'm using the same terminals, and I can say they don't pinch the terminals like they should. They aren't as loose as you describe, but they aren't tight either.
mine i can pull off with one hand, its not like HELLA easy but im a lil guy and i can pull it off without twisting

I also sold off their KnoFused distros... Not a fan of the Kompression fitting at all. The threads on the fitting were also a huge pain, and I thought I was going to strip them.

Now Kicker's distros.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
