I've had this for a while now, just haven't got around to posting pics.

I like how they measure the parameters of each individual driver before shipment.

The anodized aluminum cone is very classy.

Right after this pic my phone sucked on to the huge motor, that can't be good for it. We had it hooked up to a small stereo system just for shits.

I like big butts. We had this sitting on a steel table saw in between cardboard and I almost couldn't get it off

Trying to show you the voice coil. I had the top assembly off but my camera was dead so no pics of the whole vc.

Coupled with my saz-3000d it sounds great.

Wow maybe TC tripling prices wasn't a bad idea after all. Seems alot of these drivers popping up, even after the pricetag skyrocketted to well out of the range of sanity.

Just because the MSRP and MAP goes up doesn't mean the actual selling price went up too much. I haven't actually seen the sale price of any of their drivers since the hike, but I can't imagine it being as high as everyone says.

Ive seen several people showing off their new LMS Ultra's lately. And when asked price, they either ignore the question, or quote msrp (what, like over $2k lol). That's generally a sign someone doesn't want to admit how much they spent.
Either way, I seriously doubt they raised MSRP 2x-3x, and changed to no direct-buy, changed to going thru a dealer only (and adding his 'middle-man' cost), and yet actual cost only went up a small amount? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

So far as Ive heard, people are paying over a grand each for an LMS Ultra. A very nice piece indeed, but for that coin I could buy TWO subs that are almost as nice and still come out better off. *shrug* To each their own, like I said, they are a nice piece. Just not as nice as the price suggests.

I bought this direct. Yes it was still pricey but I wanted to get one before they switched to dealers.
