Kicer 850.2.......2ohm stable bridged??

There is a good deal i can get on this kicker kx850.2. I have a pair of kicker l5 12's. they are dual 2ohm subs which can be wired to 0.5, 2, or 8 ohms

here are the amp specs:

295 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms

425 watts RMS x 2 at 2 ohms

850 watts RMS x 1 Bridged @ 4ohms

Say's its only 4ohm stable. If i wired it to 2ohm bridged will it kill the amp??

I think i can just wire each sub to 1ohm and run 2 channels. to get a 2ohm load instead of trying to bridge them.

nope.. 4 ohm bridged... dont try 2 ohm bridge

I Wired My 2-ohm-dvc subs at 1ohm a piece to my kicker 2 channel 850.2...I think it is a 2ohm Load Right? if each of the subs are wired to 1ohm...right?

Well it should be getting around 450rms per suband it doesnt sound anything near that. They dont even sound like they're getting 500wrms. My other amp i just had on it..sounded better than this. what am i doin wrong?

nope, you are running it at 1 ohm per channel, which is the exact same thing as 2 ohms bridged
