Yeah, ED has their Nine.4 amp, good for active setups.

True, but a 4 channel, if you're starting from scratch is generally easier. Lets put it this way, AS LONG AS YOU HAVE 4 channels of amplification for a 2-way active front stage, you're set.

Where do you buy the harness for the 880prs? Crutchfield gives no info on Pioneer Premier systems for my VW. Would it be the same harness for the normal Pioneer receivers.. IE:

Why would the harness change? Yes it is the same.

The harness for the car is the same no matter what HU. But the harness that comes with the pioneer may be different.
