all i gotta do now is put it in her jeep. took me 2 days, 4~6 hours to build the box, and another 2 hours to get it sanded\carpeted and everything wired and installed (into my car for the time being)

well it was my first real 'wood' box. and let me tell you, slanted boxes are a pain in my *** because i dont have any way to slant the edge for a flush fit. but i got my trusty angle grinder and went to work, and i put down muchos liquid nails.

moral of the story, getting laid is great. building boxes is great. it was great :boobies:

YAY!!!! In my girl's jeep grand cherokee i firts put 2 re8's ported in 2 cubes @36hz. (yeah, it was a large box...I was easy on them!). Then, bout 4 months later...put 2 more re8's in! She loves them, 4 re8's ported @36hz w/ a jbl 600.1

Also, i got "moral's" too...lol. peace

i know how it is!

but i didnt spend ~$120 on her subs (2 of the re8's) im saving that for the mustang we are refurbing... fiberglass + RE (or koda, ive not decided) midbass + fiberglass console.

i got my work cut out for me.

yea i am trigger. in fact, they hit nice and crisp. i was expecting a little muddyier. but they go down to ~25hz... and i think played all the way up to ~90hz i cant remember

but they sound real **** good for ~$10 a piece!

and i didnt have any box cups, well i do, but one is broken and the other has only 2 inputs... so i was kinda forced to go thru the port... i didnt want to make a permanent thing with little holes and clog them with liquid nails and everything... so i just did that ill prolly wrap them with black duct tape, and tape the inside of the port the same... i dont think it would look right with spraypaint (drippage in the port)

yea, i almost got punched in the eye when she wanted to "show off" her infinity gold stock speakers, and she turns the bass up and says;

"ooh, cant you hear the bass! its awesome!"

and of course, i replied (like and idiot);

"no..."

ya, i bet you can guess the rest. so i found these for ~$25 on ebay, + ~$70 for the amp and wiring+box materials make up the res of the ~$120.

so for under 150, its gonna be quite a nice upgrade.
