got my p&s samples

now they sent me the aluminum backed, and the black granulated samples. the granulated is loads cheaper, now is the aluminum really necessary? im not worried about the look, and quite frankly i think the black looks better than aluminum anyways. Heres a pic of the uncovered, ( its the gray one because i stuck the black in to see how it sticks.



i dont think the stones would ever come unbonded and it seems to be pretty maluable

thats all i got from them. works fine too. and i wish i could get the grey\black... it is very sexy.

well for 71$ i can get 100 sq ft of the aluminum, and for 55$ i can get just over 200sq ft of the black sanded

the only problem i see with the granualized (spelling?) is that it wont stick very well to itself... so you might not be able to put more than one layer down.

yea that would definetly be the only issue i see im gonna bond 2 pieces together and see how they stay...maybe some spray adhesive could help out the cause.

Any Do It Best hardware store can order it for you if you ask them to. Most do not stock it but they have access to it through their warehouses. I know this becaue i work at a computer store where the owner also owns a Do It Best hardware store and that is were i got it from. Ask to speak with a manager or someone in sales, they will be able to get it for you.
