actually i like that idea, with the subs firing down. keeps them protected. i might have to try something like that in my trunk. do you think you'll lose any output with them like that vs. a normal mounted enclosure (car trunk with subs facing rear of car)?

very little lost if any at all. one of my loudest systems was downfiring
