sealed seperate chambers.

there is a gap in between the subs that im going to use to stuff a couple smaller batteries in to keep them and wires hidden

have you considered placing a port between the the 2 sealed chambers basically making on chamber for both drivers? You will more than likely pick up a db or 2. Just a thought

i considered ported. jl doesnt suggest ported but they said if i did they need about 1.5-2ft each

I must have stated my thoughts incorrectly, I mean keep it sealed just join the 2 boxes making one larger box, by simply making a connector (pvc or mdf) connector

oh ok.

i did think about leaving the dividers out of it to make a shared chamber.

if this isnt to my liking then ill try a shared chamber

it started out as seperated because i was planning on doing it a lot different when i changed my mind i just left it seperate chambers. no real reason why exactly. although it worked out for a place for the batteries

I haven't checked out the specs on your subs, but they look like they use an extremely large dia. VC, I assume they do this to keep it thin also?

the coils on mine are 7 inches

they do that so the motor can slide up inside of it.

i would love to see one of them apart but im not using mine to do it.
