the coils on mine are 7 inches
they do that so the motor can slide up inside of it.

i would love to see one of them apart but im not using mine to do it.

If you take off those 6 screws the motor slides out and that's it. there's nothing else to it. But yeah dont do it.

I am having 2 13 tw5's installed in my 06 Chevy Silverado 1500 next week. I think this is a great sub. Price is a little high, but the options were limited due to the small amount of space available. I think they will do all I want. I have the basic W1 in a small box under the seat but there will be a new box made to go behind it.

why do you want them downfiring? i put them like this cause i figured i wanted to of them to fire back and bounce back towards the front of the car and 4 of them to just fire back but in reality fire up.

Im going to make another one with only 4 TL's and probably one for 2 TL's.

i prefer downfiring when i am able to do it that way. also an easy way to keep them from getting fvcked up

here's one made out of .125" 4130 steel. Welded sealed with 6 locations for fastening. Ideally this box would be mounted underneath the rear baffle like on the JL350 Mustang.
