You should vinyl that box... here's one I did just like it... it's in the back of a conversion van, pair of kicker CVT's... impressed the hell out of me. Ignore the green tape holding the builty panels on while the adhesive cured...

thats what im using. an old 8125 thats been dropped out of a chopper a few times while in the army

i just keep it around for a back up phone and for the great camera quality

indeed they are, being so thin they still have very good excursion the way they are built

well woke up today to see that one of my dogs decided to use the box as a chew toy.

the back, top, and passenger side of the box has a nice notch now that i can fit my hand in almost.

going to get some new mdf in a few minutes. im having the lumber yard make all the cuts so all i have to do is glue and screw this time.
