JL gain knob

Is it possible to get a gain knob for the JL 1000/1 amp. If so could you show me where to get one? Thanks

Most JL dealers sell the JL RBC-1 Remote Bass Control knob.

Bass knobs are known as "remote sub cookers" for a reason.

depends on its function.

some allow you to run the AMP at 0 input, and at the remotes MAX, it is equal with the GAIN setting.

Remote gain ones, or remote *Bass boost* ones are the real problem.

AFAIK the bass knob for JL amps control the bass boost section of the amplifier. once you plug it in it becomes the bass boost control rendering the dial on the amp non functional untill you disconnect it.
