and you've owned a 13w6v2?

10's or 12's don't count, cause even though they are the same series, the only things they have in common are cosmetics and design, and voice coil configs

I personally have both brands in my setup.

I have JBL GTI components front and rear, amped by a 1000x4

I have a JL 10W3 (never mind my avatar, that pic is 5 years old, 3 10Wo's)

I prefer JL for sub but JBL makes great door speakers

actually its not... people like you assume i think JL is the best there is and nothing beats it, thats wrong, i've recomended things other than JL more than JL...

jl's aren't allways the best but my opinion is that the 13w6v2 is an ALL-AROUND better sub than the 12"GTI, whether its right for him or not, is up to him (he might be fine with the GTI's performance even if it is less)... thats why i give my opinion which no one on this forum seems to want ME to do...

granted i've been wrong, and if i am proven wrong i'll admit it, but where is the sence in saying "stfu! ur wrong. and i can fit my garage in my car"?

i give my opinion, others give both the same opinion and different opinions, but i'm the only one who is told his opinion means nothing! smart!

im not a true audiophile, i dont have super trained ears. i will not be entering any sq competions. I DO want a great sounding sub (my goal isnt "to be heard from 3 miles away", or "to shake the concrete"). it needs to sound amazing, be accurate, and yet still get satisfyingly loud. which sub would make me happier
