Help with AF bit software and '23 4Runner with JBL

I don't like admitting I need help, but I need some help. I've got a 23 4Runner with JBL amp. I've bought a new set of speakers/sub and bypassing the factory amp care of the Maestro AR2. The amp is a Audison Forza C8.14. No problem seeing input signal. Mapped input to 5 outputs (all LF/RF/LR/RR fulls plus sub). I can't seem to get an output signal to process. Made it through wizard setup, de-phasing, EQ setup for channels, finalized settings....what am I missing?

FWIW everything works fine with new speakers plugged into OEM HU and OEM amp. Volume knob works and all sound/fader settings are working when AF amp and AR2 is plugged in. I haven't muted any of the channels. Just can't figure out why the output green LED's in AF Bit software won't light up (or let sound through).

I ran the setup wizard another time and audio started flowing. I am not sure what I did to mess up the initial settings. I also went into the input/output mapping and found a random 50/50 L/R split on one speaker and was able to fix that too. Now my problem is the Maestro AR2 isn't allowing for HU control :/ I have emailed idatalink.

Here is what I have so far. AR2 has an internal controller to handle master level for the amp per ADS. AR2 cannot turn on the amp digitally per ADS. Toslink was not preferred for the AR but is for the AR2. Using analog remote on cable correctly turns on the amp. Digital cable did not. Preamp wires successfully sent L/R signal into amp when using AUD4 harness as supplied by Audison. Can't get toslink to send signal. RCA pre's DO send signal, albeit split into front/rear/sub. Fingers crossed today I'll get the info I need (tech has pinged engineer on one question) to be done with this and get y'all a full (and possibly only) post about how this should work.

Tech says I may be the first person to call who is doing this install for a '23 4Runner between a Forza amp and an AR2. More to come.

Not enough power. You got the module for the steering controls, equalizer, amps, include factory amps, subs, window switches, power distribution to all of it is not happening. Out of phase. Check the volts, ampere going out or watts needed from each component. Ohms has to match too. Speaker impedance matches that of the radio and power amp. All four speakers and subwoofer must be in phase. This part is important. Nothing is happening. More power needed from the battery to the radio. Then out…

Can you hear music? Just nothing sounds coming out. This setup is out of phase. Out of phase meaning the negative supply voltages (ground) and positive supply voltage ( + ) wiring is all mix up. Making the radio not in unison. Wiring, color to color. Black striped are the negative speakers. Connect all of them correctly. This goes directly to the radio. OP AMP. No power going through the components so nothing is on. And no sounds. Check all the volts again, along with the ampere.

I'm not sure if you saw my additional posts. I can hear the music while using the AF Bit app but the controlling action care of the Maestro is not talking to the amp correctly. The new AR2 currently doesn't digitally command the Audison amp but they tell me it currently controlling the signal at the AR2 plus fader/treb/mid/bass for the HU. I'm just waiting on Maestro to tell me if there is anything funky with the signal coming across the toslink. If I can't figure that part out I'll just go RCA preamp and we should be fine.

Ignore that MoFo III guy, he's a bot or some nut job, nothing he says is to be trusted, thus all the warnings and stuff.

SOLVED - sorta. Maestro engineer was still troubleshooting why the toslink may not be activated on the board. I used the Maestro RCA to Audison RCA preout input. I used the remote on Maestro cord to remote on Audison cord. Everything works like a champ. Just needed to buy some male to male RCA adapters and we are golden. 2023 Limited 4Runner with JBL headunit is now working like a charm with the Maestro AR2 to Audison Forza C3.14 bit amp. I would have loved to used just the toslink connection, but maybe another day I'll swap things out when Maestro tells me it is working.
