What's left? I know I will see it but how are you attaching the externals?I'll probably still be working on it:crap:
2 ports left, I have to attach the spacer plates so I can screw them on, I'll put weather stripping behind the plates. What's left? I know I will see it but how are you attaching the externals?
lol @ after rise...Finished up the box today....well almost. The T-nut screws kept stripping on me, so I gotta find another way to attach the ports.
Put 4 cans of spray paint on the ports...could probably use another couple cans.
I'm getting 1.5ohms after rise.
Reads 1.0 out the box and 1.5 in, must be my fake DMMif you really want to find your rise i have a real clamp and craftsman DMM and a cheapo to measure v-drop
are you sure that's a dust cap noise remember what I was saying about the spider spacer coming loose it makes a noise like a dust cap and if you catch it early it's easy to fix.Reads 1.0 out the box and 1.5 in, must be my fake DMM
for one fifteen, it crushes the lows...clean
there is a slight dustcap noise when cranked.
Overall, I'm happy with the box, and not much drop off in SPL from the 2 Eclipses.
That could of been it. Cap looked solid.are you sure that's a dust cap noise remember what I was saying about the spider spacer coming loose it makes a noise like a dust cap and if you catch it early it's easy to fix.
I have had this happen to several of these models(T1's/T2's) and the way it's described it's still very fixable and no damage has occurred it's a small part of the plastic spider spacer slapping it's landing all you do to fix it is pull the sub out have one person gently from the bottom side of the cone up until you see the loose part of the spider lift up then while it's being held there using 20min 2part epoxy and an artist brush apply it everywhere you can let the cone down add a small amount of weight and let it set for a couple hours. I have done this a few times and never had one fail twice! That could of been it. Cap looked solid.
