i take it you havent taken your doors off yet....you quite possibly the best set of doors for midbass...... the entire door is an already sealed enclosure.... 10 10mm bolts hold on one side of said enclosure that you can simply undo and remove and have enough access to lay whole un cut sheets of deadner on....a set of 7s or 8s would give you more midbass then you could imagine in that car...10s are not necessary.....i did a pair of these car a couple of months back using focal polyglass components even with no deadening in either set of doors midbass was felt in every seat in the car

Yep, I've taken the panels off, not in my car though. I couldn't figure out how to take off that one piece with the 10 10mm bolts, but I found a tutorial on g35driver and wow, so easy to deaden like you said.

The only issue I see with running 10's or even 8's is the cutout. Did you have to shift the location? Because there is a reinforcement bar behind the speaker cutout and I'm wondering how much depth there actually is. How big were the baffles for the 8's?

Thanks, I am too...this will NOT turn out to be like the Accord. I don't want to keep changing my mind during the install, I want to do all the mind changing before it so that I have a plan and I want to stick to it.

i havent done it myself but ive heard its possible to space that bar out a bit and not affect the window.....ive never done 8s in that car but i do see it being possible

I was gonna ask you on AIM how much power you were feeding them 10's. I might be able to get some measurements today, I'll have to see though. It also depends on how much the doors will be modded.

According to Worlddre it is not needed. I don't have the PXE yet and probably won't for some time, at least not until I get another part time job or they increase my hours.

Just a little teaser till I get better more and better pics. Car is dirty right now and I actually will finish painting my emblems. Turns out I just needed to let them dry a bit longer before painting over them.

Here's the ride sitting on Falken 245/35/20's all around and Tein Basic coilovers. The drop is significant. Barely enough room to get a finger in the front and impossible to a finger in the rear, maybe if an infant were to try to they might be able to. No rubbing thus far and I dont have the fear of going over bumps or potholes as I used to. I'm loving it so far.
