If I have 1 JBL 600.1amp running two 4ohm subs in parallel @2ohm's can I add on another 600.1amp to the same two subs and get the power out of the second amp aswell??Would I then be running two 600.1's to two subs and be getting the rated amp power of the combined two @ 1200 rms?? I know if I just use one amp per sub I'll only be running the 4ohm power rating of each amp which is 300 rms. I don't want to sound like a rookie but I am..lol..Any help would be much appreciated. Also I'll be running 3amps and my HU has 3 pre outs..If this hook up is possible could I use Y connector RCA's from one sub amp to the other to incorporate the fourth amp??

no i dont think you can bridge the powers together there only a few amps where that works, my suggestion would be to get a jbl bp 1200.1 then you would get 600 watts rms for each sun and they are only about 100 bucks more then the bp600 on ebay

yes you could use a y adapter just make sure it goes right before the amp then use more rca cables to run it to the other amp and i guess you could also just hook it up right at the back of your hu...that would work as well

Thanks for the advice everyone. But can anyone explain to me the reason why it can't be done and what will happen? Thanks again..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

it just wont bc to bridge two amps together to one channel you have to take the negative of one amp and use the positive of the other amp, and more then liikley it will not produce any sound and if it does i wouldnt reccommend using it like that bc it isnt suggested that you do that and it may damage the amps very quickly

Ok I guess I'm not going to risk my amps by trying that out..lol..Just thought it might work.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif Anyways thanks for the advice Panther. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
