Is this car worth $2000..??

Looking for a beater car just to put miles on , since I drive about 600 miles / week.. His price is waaayyyyyy over what it should be.. According to KBB fully loaded in excellent condition its valued at $2095.. Thinking about offering him $2K cash.. Thoughts?

id offer a little less then 2k but yeah its a clean car for the age and i do like the body style of it to be honest

Yea man. It doesn't look to bad for a 94. And I hear the 2.5 v6 is a pretty good motor. And if that's true and the clutch and ****** are still good I actually wouldn't have a problem paying 2k. For sure gonna have a mechanic check it out but just wondering if anyone has ever had one or heard anything good about them

the 2.5L that came in those is almost impossible to kill, i have seen 4 or 5 of them with very close if not over 300k on them and they still ran great, it all depends on how they are taken care of though

I called the dude and offered 2k he said it's a great car yadda yadda. The clutch is good brakes are good but need a new windshield. I thought about what ge had into it and offered 2k again and told him if it doesn't sell I'll buy it. As long as it drives and runs as good as u say it does

yeah there quite easy to turbo. I had a probe and it was a dammn good car, which the mx6 and probe are pretty much the same think. Buy it and turbo.

Ahhhh the joys of car buying. Last time I bought a car (2002 Mitsubishi diamanté ) it was nothing but problems. Rear pillow bushings, tcu, ecu , the alternator ( I actually have a thread about the voltage issue probably on here ) ****** and heater core. It's just a mess.

So now I'm trying to search problems on the mx6. I KNOW it won't be near as expensive to fix but I wanna know if I should expect anything bad to happen considering there's 132000 miles on it. But I do really like it

Yea man it's been nothing but problems. My fault for not researching online better before I bought but I still love the car interior and exterior and the way it drives. But to fix these things are ungodly expensive.

I'm waiting to see on that Mazda. He's gonna email me back and I'll go take it for a spin

alpine did make alarms back in the day. not anymore. they were basically audiovox rebadged alarms. very un reliable in my exp. i had to remove many in my time to replace with a dei product.

It will run good just get a tune up like normal when buying a used car, the only problem i ever had one my probe was the belt tenisor thing. Besides that it was an sweet car and lasted me from 130k miles to 230k after my friend wrecked it. And its good because most of the parts are cheap

Looks like a cool little car. With that many miles on it id make sure i replace the timing belt soon if it hasnt been done. Thats one of the major downfalls to imports, the timing belt can snap and bust your whole shit. Other than that and all the bullshit electronics/being cheaply made, theyre decent cars. Id offer him 1800 for it.
