Is this a good subwoofer setup

i am about to buy two Twelve inch kicker L7 and they will be hooked up to a memphis 1000 class d mono block amp they will be in a ported box does this sound like a good setup

Yes.

Keeping in mind I'm mainly saying yes because I know that's what you want to hear. But I also think it should be a decent setup depending on the enclosure.

i am going to build it to the bigest recomended ported encloser it will be in a dodge ram 1500 it is a extended cab i took out the back seat

Ooh, he switched it up to 2 L7s. In that case they might want a little more power then then 1000D but should still work very nicely.

What are you going for -- just loud? And how much are you planning on spending?

yes i wont it to be loud i can get the two L7 for 400 brand new and i have always liked kicker subs
